None of you dreamboats like to get drunk as bad as I do, it’s sad, but it’s true Been drinking&smoking&wishing&hoping and all of the nights stink of you Spend all day forgetting the dreams I’ve been having, I’m dreaming if you love me, too Thought we were living together in sin and now I see you had no clue Been sweeping&keeping the room all neat in case you maybe wanna pass through Time to move on, find a plane, and get on with it somewhere where no one knows you Everyone knows you’re no good with the roads Pick up my love, drop me a line On the coastline I am better than fine but I know it’s a matter of time Your face is a secret with someone you just met and you know I’ll never ask why So all you young dreamers and love freak believers: nobody drinks like we do I can’t hold your hand and gin counts as a plan cause I’ll never get over you You’re gone and my bones know it, too Can you tell that I’ve had a few? This next one goes out to you For old time’s sake I’ll drink to you

Honey 02:36
You’re just a spoonful of honey: sugar and power and light nothing about this seems funny but I’m cracking you up tonight You are my hero, my honey don’t let them take me away you are my playboy, my bunny give it to me where I lay You’re my old man, my old money save you up for rainy days lately though, it’s just been sunny why don’t I want you today?
3.
Dorianne 02:22
There is a poem by Dorianne about two lovers painting a kitchen, and there’s a line about a sweater the color of tender lemons, and the whole scene with the colors makes Dorianne consider her lovers and the passage of time, which is something I do when I miss you and something reminds, and I miss you, just a little, all of the time.

Louise 03:27
When one of ‘em’s cryin the other is tryin her best for the both of ‘em They learned how to run and to fire their guns and to drive like the devil is chasin ‘em All the men in America want a leggy woman ...even better if her hair is red and there are two of ‘em If I ever end up a killer, I hope that I’ll be like Louise She didn’t take lightly the end of a life, she just had no use for the police I don’t have guns or any husbands, but suddenly I’ve gotta go Buy an old Thunderbird, cut the sleeves off my shirt, and haul ass to Mexico All the men in America want a leggy woman ...even better if her hair is red and there are two of ‘em Nothing better than warm weather, the open road, and me and you Nothing better than warm weather, the open road, and me and you All the men in America want a leggy woman ...even better if her hair is red and there are two of ‘em

I like how you shake my cage at the end of the day lumpy like clay & all in my way do we have to go straight through each other? if we have to, okay take you on the road sing to you with my throat show you mine on the side of the highway til our mouths blow cold are you coming with me? I like how you shake my cage at the end of the day

I Want To 02:30
I’m nothin like the woman I think I’d like to be: I’m only brave sometimes and I think like crazy But I love the sound of your deep voice and I love your shoulders wide I want to feel your love on me - come here a little while I’m something like the woman I think I’d like to be: I’m swimmin in my feelings and I’m learnin something And I love the warm in your hand and I love your flickering eyes I want to feel your love on me - come here a little while I guess I’m just the woman I’m turning out to be: I’m hungry for and lonesome in your sweet company But I love your leather eyelids and I love your dirty smile I want to feel your love on me - come here a little while

Boss Man 03:47
I got a thing for the bossman, baby from 9-5 he just drives me crazy one of these days I’m gonna tell him what to do he’s building something from nothing, honey he’s always biting his lip about money I wish my only assignment was bringing him ease oh I wish he would notice me workin hard in his factory the man’s got all kinds of hold on me, yes he do I like to think about maybe someday it’s good to see him first thing Monday and when I see him it sweetens the grind [all your sickness? I’d suck it up. throw it all at me, I’ll shrug it off. there’s one thing that I don’t understand… you keep on telling me I ain’t your kind of man. ain’t I rough enough? ain’t I tough enough? ain’t I rich enough? in love enough?] oh I wish he would notice me working hard in his factory, the man’s got all kinds of hold on me, yes he do I got a thing for the boss man, baby from 9-5 he just drives me crazy one of these days I’m gonna tell boss man what to do like call me into the office early I know you’re busy, I know you worry I know you’re busy, taking what’s mine
